Interior Designer

We build residential apartments in Jigani, Bangalore, and hire for our ongoing and upcoming projects. We need an Interior Designer who takes a space from drawing to finished room: entrance and common lobbies, the model flat, and interiors for customers who ask us to do theirs.

Strong 3D work is essential: SketchUp or Revit, 3ds Max with V-Ray, and Lumion. Bring renders you made yourself.

You prepare the layouts, working drawings, specifications and BOQs, select materials within budget, and supervise the contractors on site until the space is handed over. You work with our project manager and site supervisors and report to the owner.

What you will do:

Design entrance lobbies, common corridors and other common areas: flooring, wall finishes, false ceilings, lighting and signage

Design and fit out the model flat

Design customer interiors on request: layouts, furniture, modular kitchens, wardrobes; present options and costs

Prepare working drawings, specifications and BOQs that contractors can price and build

Select materials and finishes with suppliers; compare rates and keep within budget

Coordinate with the electrical, plumbing and civil teams so points and services suit the design

Supervise carpentry, false ceiling, painting and fit-out contractors on site; check work against the drawing

Measure and certify interior contractors' bills

Hand over finished spaces with a snag list closed

Work: Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 6 pm. Experience: 3+ years designing and executing residential interiors, including work supervised on site.
