Business Development Executive – IT Infrastructure & Cloud

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic IT Infrastructure & Cloud Business Development Executive to drive new business opportunities across IT infrastructure, cloud, managed services, cybersecurity, data centre, and digital transformation solutions.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of technology solutions and the ability to engage with CXOs, IT Heads, Infrastructure Managers, and business decision-makers to identify requirements and convert them into business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

* Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn, references, networking, and industry events.

* Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline for IT infrastructure and cloud services.

* Understand customer IT environments and identify opportunities for:

  * Cloud Migration & Managed Cloud Services

  * AWS / Microsoft Azure Solutions

  * Data Centre & Infrastructure Services

  * Server, Storage & Networking Solutions

  * Backup & Disaster Recovery

  * Cybersecurity Services

  * Managed IT / NOC Services

  * Microsoft 365 & Intune Solutions

  * DevOps & Automation

  * IT Consulting and Digital Transformation

* Conduct customer meetings, requirement discussions, presentations, and solution briefings.

* Work closely with technical/pre-sales teams to prepare proposals, solution architectures, quotations, and presentations.

* Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to negotiation and closure.

* Build relationships with CXOs, CIOs, CTOs, IT Managers, and procurement teams.

* Follow up on proposals, quotations, POCs, and commercial discussions.

* Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and opportunity status.

* Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.

* Develop strategic partnerships with technology vendors and channel partners.

* Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling existing customers.

Required Skills

* Good understanding of IT Infrastructure and Cloud technologies.

* Knowledge of AWS, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Networking, Servers, Storage, Backup, DR, and Cybersecurity.

* Strong B2B sales and business development skills.

* Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into business opportunities.

* Experience using CRM tools and LinkedIn for prospecting.

* Strong follow-up and relationship-management skills.

* Willingness to travel for customer meetings when required.

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or a related field.

* IT sales / technology sales experience is preferred.

* Certifications or exposure to AWS, Azure, Microsoft, Cisco, Dell, HPE, VMware, or similar technologies will be an advantage.

* Existing relationships with corporate / SMB customers will be an added advantage.
