Position: CDP / Head Chef

Experience: 4–15+ years in professional kitchens

• Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and supervise food preparation as per restaurant standards.
• Manage the assigned section and ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Ensure consistency in taste, quality, presentation, and portion control.
• Handle daily mise en place and ensure timely preparation during service.
• Lead, guide, and supervise Commis, DCDP, and junior kitchen staff.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen SOPs.
• Monitor inventory, food usage, portion control, and minimize wastage.
• Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Support menu planning, recipe standardization, and new dish development.
• Monitor food quality and ensure timely correction of any issues.
• Manage overall kitchen operations and staff allocation as required.
• Maintain kitchen discipline and ensure all team members follow operational standards.
• Requirements4–15+ years of relevant experience in restaurants, hotels, QSRs, or professional kitchens.
• Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine and kitchen operations.
• CDP candidates should have strong section-handling experience.
• Head Chef candidates should have proven experience in team and kitchen management.
• Good knowledge of food costing, inventory, and wastage control.
• Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
