2. ABOUT THE ROLE

Richa Ma’am is launching daily vlogs and content that show her day and the real weight-loss journeys of IWLD students, both at the Goa hostel and online through Zoom classes. This role is the Content Creator & Host: the main on-camera host alongside Ma’am, who also comes up with the ideas, presents student interviews, podcast segments and lives, and creates reels for IWLD’s channels.

The Goa hostel and IWLD office have huge content potential: students, cooks, housekeeping staff, drivers, team members, podcast guests, Richa Ma’am’s shoots, kitchens and daily office activity happen every day. The Content Creator & Host finds these moments, presents them on camera and turns them into relatable, emotional and viral content for Instagram, YouTube and other platforms.

The role needs a fun, outspoken, Gen Z personality who can hold the camera’s attention: goes everywhere with Ma’am, explores new places, starts conversations, interviews people and adds entertainment to every piece of content. The goal is natural, fun on-camera chemistry with Ma’am that makes viewers look forward to every episode.

You own the content end to end: the idea, hosting and shooting it, getting it edited (yourself or by briefing an editor), and posting it on time. If any content is late, it is this seat’s responsibility.

3. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

A. On-Camera Hosting with Richa Ma’am

You are the host and on-camera face alongside Richa Ma’am every day. You must:

•   Be with Richa Ma’am through her day: home, office, hostel, shoots and travel, and appear on camera as her co-host.

•   Host the daily vlog: open and close each episode, introduce the day, the places and the people, and keep the story moving.

•   Start natural, entertaining conversations with Ma’am, including playful banter, while keeping Ma’am comfortable and at the centre.

•   Carry the content and keep talking to camera when Ma’am is busy or not able to talk.

•   Bring new ideas, formats and experiences to Ma’am instead of waiting for her or the team to plan every moment.

•   Encourage Ma’am to try new activities and to shoot confidently in public places.

B. Hosting Interviews, Podcasts, Lives and Events

•   Host student interviews and transformation stories: weigh-in reactions, before-after conversations and journey check-ins.

•   Convince hesitant students to come on camera with warmth, make them comfortable and get them talking.

•   Anchor or co-host IWLD podcast segments: introduce guests, lead warm-ups and capture behind-the-scenes conversations.

•   Host Instagram and YouTube lives, Q&As, celebrations, campus tours, challenges and IWLD events.

•   Do street interviews and vox pops in public places on food, diet and weight-loss topics.

•   Prepare before every hosted segment: know the student or guest, the key points and the questions to ask.

C. Content Ideation, Scripting and Planning

•   Bring fresh content ideas every day: reels, trends, challenges, mini-series, food myths, hostel stories and Q&A formats.

•   Track trending audios, formats and creators, and adapt them to IWLD’s message and teachings.

•   Write hooks, short scripts and talking points for hosted pieces; share inputs for titles and captions with the Content Writer.

•   Plan a weekly content calendar with the Production Head and stick to it.

•   Pitch and run recurring series (for example, A Day at the Hostel, What We Eat in a Day, Student of the Week).

D. Daily Hostel and Campus Content

•   Capture and present daily routines of weight-loss students at the Goa hostel: morning weigh-ins, meals, water intake, Zoom classes, discipline and activities.

•   Capture emotional moments, struggles, motivation, cravings, confidence changes and achievements.

•   Cover student bonding, fun activities, celebrations and transformation milestones.

•   Cover the full IWLD Goa campus: student and team kitchens, cooks preparing IWLD meals, housekeeping and support staff, drivers and logistics, office team, production shoots and podcast guest visits.

•   Show students’ real weight-loss journey and the complete IWLD Goa ecosystem in a natural, relatable and engaging way.

E. Capture High Moments, Any Time

This is not a fixed-time desk job. You need a strong content-alert mindset and must be ready to capture or host important moments any time. Examples of high moments:

•   Student reaction after weight loss

•   Student refusing junk food or following discipline

•   Funny hostel moments and emotional conversations

•   Students preparing for podcast or reels

•   Richa Ma’am motivating students or shooting content

•   Kitchen, office and team moments

F. Richa Ma’am’s Content

•   Capture Richa Ma’am’s shoots, student interactions, motivation moments, senior management work and student guidance moments as part of the content story.

•   Understand the context of these clips and use them in a way that supports the story and the brand message.

G. Travel, Lifestyle and Goa Experiences

Content will go beyond the hostel and office. You should:

•   Plan and host outings in Goa: cafés, beaches, restaurants, high-end venues, clubs, events and parties.

•   Travel with Ma’am on trips (e.g. Delhi) and turn travel days into full hosted vlogs.

•   Discuss food wherever you go (restaurants, travel, hill trips) so IWLD’s diet message comes in naturally.

•   Show your own social, outgoing lifestyle on camera, so the contrast with IWLD’s disciplined lifestyle becomes content (for example, why partying every day leads to weight gain and health problems, while once in a while is fine).

•   Research new places, activities and events independently.

H. Fitness and Challenges with Ma’am

•   Join and host Ma’am’s workouts and activities: gym, swimming, cold-water challenges and more.

•   Be open to showing your own lifestyle and, where it applies, your own fitness or weight-loss journey on camera.

I. Shooting on Phone and Camera

As a creator you will often shoot yourself. You should be comfortable with:

•   Phones (iPhone and Samsung Android) and DJI Osmo Pocket

•   DSLR / mirrorless camera, gimbal and tripod

•   Wireless mic and basic lighting setup

•   Self-shooting talking-to-camera pieces in vertical and horizontal formats

Basic understanding of framing, audio, lighting, vertical video and camera angles is required.

J. Storytelling and Viral Content Sense

You should understand what makes content relatable and viral, including:

•   Strong hooks in the first 3 seconds

•   Emotional moments and funny, natural reactions

•   Before-after contrast, student struggles and wins

•   Daily mini-stories, suspense, curiosity and human emotions

•   Short clips that can become Reels or YouTube Shorts

Think like a storyteller and a host, not just a camera person.

K. Editing and Cuts

You should have basic editing and cuts knowledge, including:

•   Selecting the best clips from raw footage and removing boring parts

•   Creating fast-paced cuts with jump cuts, reaction cuts, captions and subtitles

•   Making 30–60 second reels from vlog, interview and podcast footage

•   Combining self-shot clips with regular footage

•   Giving clear editing notes to editors

L. Daily Content Delivery

You are responsible for creating and coordinating daily content such as:

•   Daily hosted vlog with Richa Ma’am

•   Hosted reels and talking-to-camera pieces

•   Short story clips from the day, shared with the Instagram Stories Executive

•   Student interview and transformation clips

•   Podcast, live session and event clips

•   Office, kitchen, hostel and campus clips

You coordinate with the editor, Content Writer, Instagram Executive, YouTube Manager and Production Head for approvals and posting.

M. End-to-End Ownership: Idea, Shoot, Edit, Post

You are responsible and accountable for every piece of content, from idea to posting:

•   Plan the idea, hook and talking points.

•   Host and shoot the day’s vlog and supporting reels.

•   Edit it yourself, or brief the editor clearly and follow up until the edit is final.

•   Get approval and post on time on the assigned channels.

•   Check performance after posting (views, watch time, retention, comments) and apply the learnings to the next piece.

•   If any content is late or missed, inform management immediately and fix it.

N. Coordination and Comfort Building

Build a comfortable environment so that students and team members look natural on camera. This includes:

•   Taking consent before sensitive shoots and interviews

•   Making students comfortable during recording

•   Coordinating with the hostel warden / nutritionist before shooting in hostel areas

•   Coordinating with cooks, housekeeping, drivers, office team and production team

•   Explaining the story and context of footage to editors

•   Maintaining respect and professionalism at all times

O. Footage Management

•   Back up daily footage properly and keep raw footage safe.

•   Maintain folders date-wise, student-wise and topic-wise.

•   Mark important / high-moment clips and share selected clips with editors on time.

•   Maintain a basic daily content report.

P. Brand Sensitivity

IWLD content involves real people, emotions, body image and transformation journeys. You must ensure:

•   Students are shown respectfully, and no one is mocked for weight, body, food habits or emotions.

•   Sensitive personal or medical details are not shared without approval.

•   As a host, you speak about diet, health and weight loss only as per IWLD teachings and approved talking points, and never give medical advice or make claims on your own.

•   Content aligns with IWLD teachings and values, and builds trust, inspiration and motivation.

•   Hesitant students are convinced to come on camera with warmth and encouragement, but a firm no is always respected.

•   Talking about a student’s weight-loss journey is fine when it is caring and encouraging, never mocking.

Q. Content Rights and Commitment

Because the Content Creator & Host appears on camera every day, IWLD needs certainty that published content stays up. You must:

•   Sign a service bond and a content rights agreement at joining, giving IWLD full rights to all videos, photos, audio and clips featuring you.

•   Accept that published vlogs, reels, interviews and podcasts will not be removed or edited later because of personal reasons, family pressure or relationship pressure.

•   Make sure no personal or family situation creates problems for shoots, schedules or published content.

R. Daily Checklist

•   Share the day’s content ideas and hosting plan with the Production Head.

•   Spend the day with Richa Ma’am and host her vlog on camera.

•   Capture hostel routine, student weight updates, food preparation and meal moments.

•   Host at least one student conversation, interview or talking-to-camera piece.

•   Cover office, kitchen, hostel, team and podcast activities.

•   Identify 5–10 high moments daily.

•   Share the best clips with the editing / content team; edit or assist in editing vlog and reel cuts.

•   Coordinate posting of approved content, and post the day’s vlog on time, every day.

•   Maintain daily footage backup.

•   Give a daily content update to the Production Head / Management.
