Job Description

An electrical technician installs, maintains, tests, and repairs electrical wiring, equipment, and operating systems in commercial, residential, or industrial setting.

No of Openings: 5

Location: Gummidipoondi - (Plot No. 55, Survey No. 224, SIPCOT Industrial Park, Pappankuppam Village, Gummidipoondi, Tiruvallur, Tamil Nadu – 601201)


Key Responsibilities

  • Installation: Set up new electrical panels, wiring, conduits, and fixtures according to technical blueprints.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose electrical faults and system failures using test tools like multimeters, clamp meters, and voltmeters.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine preventive checks on breakers, switches, motors, and power distribution units.
  • Repair: Replace damaged wiring, faulty circuit boards, or broken components safely.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow local electrical codes, use proper personal protective equipment (PPE), and adhere to lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) protocols.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Technical Knowledge: Strong grasp of electrical theory, circuits, and reading wiring schematics.
  • Tool Proficiency: Experience with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic test instruments.
  • Critical Thinking: Ability to analyze test data and solve complex system malfunctions.
  • Physical Stamina: Capacity to stand for long periods, lift heavy equipment, and work in tight spaces.
