Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming raw material, in-process, and final components (CMM, height gauge, micrometer, vernier, bore gauge, surface roughness tester)
- Maintain inspection reports, calibration records, CAPA docs
- Handle customer complaints/rejections — root cause analysis
- Support internal audits, ISO 9001 documentation
- Approve/reject batches before dispatch
- Coordinate with production for in-process quality issues
- First article inspection (FAI) for new jobs/setups
Requirements:
- Diploma/B.Tech (Mechanical/Production)
- 2–5 yrs experience in machining/CNC industry
- Knowledge of GD&T, ISO 9001, measuring instruments
- CMM programming knowledge preferred
