The Waffler Trainee

Role Overview:

The main responsibility is to manage day-to-day store operations and provide a smooth, friendly, and efficient guest experience. The role involves a combination of food preparation, customer service, billing, cleanliness, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare basic food items such as waffles and garnishes according to standard recipes.
• Take customer orders accurately and explain menu items, prices, and available options.
• Prepare food according to recipes and quality standards provided by the Store Manager.
• Operate the cash register and process customer payments accurately.
• Handle phone orders and provide courteous customer service.
• Prepare and organize ingredients required for daily operations.
• Maintain adequate stock and inventory of food ingredients and other store supplies.
• Check inventory levels and inform the Store Manager about shortages or replenishment requirements.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized kitchen and store environment.
• Clean the store and surrounding areas, including sweeping and mopping floors.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and operational procedures.
• Participate in training programs to improve product knowledge, service skills, and understanding of brand promotions.
• Support the Store Manager and team in ensuring smooth day-to-day outlet operations.
