Job Description:

Note : The position is for the newly formed joint venture company between Airbus & Air
India. The joint venture company will be called Airbus India Training Center (AITC)
About Company
Delivering on its commitment to ‘Skill India’, Airbus has entered into a 50:50 joint
venture with the Tata-owned Air India to launch a world-class pilot training center in
Gurugram, Haryana. The JV Training Centre will offer A320 and A350 flight training to
some 5,000 new pilots over 10 years and is operational since 2025.
This joint venture, named as Airbus India training center (AITC) will be a strategically
critical project for both organizations, with an ambition to form a world leading Aviation
Academy in South Asia that could positively impact operations and safety standards of
both Airbus and Air India operators in the region.
Position : Chief Ground Instructor
Location : Gurgaon, Haryana
Employment: The CGI will be a position holder of the JV legal entity, Company name -
Airbus India Training Center
Duties and responsibilities- 
CGI directly reports to the Head of Training
The Chief Ground Instructor is responsible for:
● The supervision and the standardisation of the ground instructors by
- Ensuring they meet the competencies requirements as defined in “Airbus Training”
standards and DGCA requirements
- Ensuring that their relevant training and/or standardisation forms are completed in
accordance with the applicable procedures
● Conduct theoretical knowledge training sessions as per the training program,
● Conduct the System Knowledge tests in line with the examination procedures.
● Convening and documenting all interviews and follow-up action required in case of
sub-standard performance.
● Guidance for recruitment and selection of Instructors.
● Maintain the TPM in compliance to Airbus Manuals and DGCA Regulations.
