Optimize AI infrastructure/hardware performance, power consumption, cost and scalability of computational stack. Advise on AI infrastructure technology and vendor evaluation, selection and full stack integration.

Summary:
As a skilled Infrastructure as Code (IaC) manager with deep expertise in Azure Cloud, Terraform, Azure DevOps, and Enterprise Automation. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership in designing, implementing, and governing scalable cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation frameworks, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices across enterprise environments.
This role requires a strong blend of Azure Cloud Architecture, DevOps Engineering, Infrastructure Automation, Security Governance, and team leadership. The candidate will be responsible for driving cloud modernization initiatives, establishing engineering best practices, mentoring team members, and ensuring reliable, secure, and automated infrastructure delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Azure Cloud Architecture & Engineering
Lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and highly available Azure cloud solutions.
Architect enterprise landing zones, network segmentation strategies, and hub-and-spoke topologies.
Provide technical leadership for Azure networking services including VNets, Subnets, NSGs, ASGs, UDRs, VNet Peering, Private Endpoints, Service Endpoints, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, Azure Firewall, Application Gateway (WAF), Front Door, Traffic Manager, and DNS services.
Guide the deployment and management of Azure compute and platform services including Azure VMs, App Services, Azure Functions, AKS, and Logic Apps.
Support and govern Azure data platform services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, Storage Accounts, ADLS Gen2, Event Hub, Event Grid, Key Vault, and Purview.
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
Drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code standards, frameworks, and best practices across projects.
Design, develop, and maintain reusable Terraform modules and templates.
Automate Azure infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform.
Implement governance controls including RBAC, policy-as-code, tagging standards, and compliance requirements.
Manage Terraform state, environment segregation, and deployment strategies across multiple environments.
Enable automated infrastructure deployments through CI/CD pipelines.
Azure DevOps & Automation
Lead the implementation and optimization of Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines using YAML.
Manage Azure Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts, and release processes.
Establish automated build, testing, deployment, security scanning, and approval workflows.
Support application and container deployments across .NET, Python, Node.js, Docker, and AKS environments.
Promote GitOps methodologies, branching strategies, and DevOps best practices.
Develop and standardize automation solutions using PowerShell, Python, Bash, and Azure CLI.
Security, Governance & Compliance
Implement and enforce Zero Trust security principles across cloud environments.
Establish governance standards for Azure subscriptions, networking, infrastructure, and platform services.
Manage Azure Key Vault, Managed Identities, Service Principals, RBAC, and privileged access controls.
Ensure compliance with enterprise security policies and industry standards such as ISO 27001, SOC2, and GDPR.
Drive implementation of Azure Firewall, WAF, DDoS protection, and secure networking controls.
Monitoring & Operational Excellence
Implement enterprise monitoring and observability solutions using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Network Watcher, Defender, and Connection Monitor.
Enable proactive monitoring, alerting, performance optimization, and capacity planning.
Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and remediation of infrastructure and platform issues.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation, reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to cloud, DevOps, and infrastructure engineers.
Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and technical knowledge-sharing sessions.
Collaborate with architects, security teams, application teams, and business stakeholders to deliver cloud solutions.
Support project planning, estimation, technical governance, and delivery execution.
Foster a culture of innovation, automation, and engineering excellence.

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
7–10 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or related domains.
6+ years of hands-on experience in Azure Cloud Architecture and Infrastructure Automation.
Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code implementations.
Extensive experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
Strong understanding of Azure networking, cloud security, governance, and platform services.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), and container orchestration platforms.
Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, Bash, Azure CLI, and automation scripting.
