SBT Corporation is an established home solutions provider based in Hyderabad, serving residential and commercial clients with audio-video systems, home automation, and appliance installations.
Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated fresher to join our technical team as an Audio & Video Installation Engineer. You will be trained on-the-job to install, configure, and service AV equipment including speakers, TVs, home theatre systems, and related wiring/networking setups at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in on-site installation of audio and video equipment (speakers, AV receivers, TVs, projectors, soundbars)
- Run and terminate cabling — speaker wire, HDMI, and low-voltage wiring
- Mount TVs, speakers, and brackets as per site requirements
- Support senior engineers during system setup, testing, and calibration
- Handle basic troubleshooting of AV equipment and connections
- Maintain tools, equipment, and installation materials
- Follow safety practices during installation work
- Coordinate with the team for daily job assignments and site visits
- Provide basic customer support/demo on installed systems
Requirements
- ITI certificate (Electrician, Electronics, Wireman, or related trade) or equivalent technical qualification.
- Basic understanding of electrical wiring and hand tools.
- Willingness to travel to different sites within India.
- Good attitude toward learning new technical skills.
- Basic communication skills (Telugu/Hindi/English).
- Physically fit for ladder work, lifting equipment, and fieldwork.
- Two-wheeler with valid license (for site travel).
Preferred (not mandatory)
- Prior exposure to electronics, wiring, or appliance repair (even as a hobby).
