Internship Details

Duration: 6 months

Work Mode: Hybrid Mode (3 days work from office & 2 days work from home)

Work days: 5 Days Working (Monday to Friday)

Shift Timings: Night Shift (6:30 PM -3:30 AM IST)

About the Role

Operations Specialists at Client work in a variety of functions within operations. Following an initial training period, new entrants will undergo an assessment period often lasting for six months. During this assessment period, each candidate's strengths will be assessed to determine their eventual placement within the company's various Operations teams (Processing, Underwriting, Closing and Servicing) in the US Mortgage Domain. We collaborate with each person to best match their strengths and their interests when determining this placement.

Essential Job Functions

• Work closely with management and participate in the build-out of processes and workflows within operations, providing feedback in the design and improvement of operational processes.
• Communicate with onshore team, brokers, loan officers, operations staff, and other parties to obtain necessary information and documentation needed to underwrite loans.
• Reviewing loan documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Provide support for the underwriting team by performing loan data reviews in accordance with our standard operating procedures under the supervision of senior staff.
• Assist the business development and processing teams in administering loans through the origination cycle.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure standard operating procedures are followed.
• Identify process improvements and recommend solutions.
• Participate in training programs focused on individual development leading to team and personal success.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve borrower concerns in a professional and efficient manner.
• Other administrative and operational duties as required.
