Accountant

About the RoleWe are looking for an Accountant / Accounts Executive who has strong practical knowledge of accounting and a basic-to-good understanding of Income Tax.

This role is particularly suitable for candidates who want to build a career beyond routine accounting and gain exposure to Virtual CFO services, taxation, international taxation and cross-border consulting.

• Key ResponsibilitiesDay-to-day accounting and bookkeeping
• Bank, ledger and balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparation and review of financial statements
• Accounts payable/receivable and general accounting activities
• Preparation of MIS and financial reports
• Basic Income Tax computation and compliance support
• TDS and other tax-related compliance support
• Assisting in tax planning and financial analysis
• Supporting Virtual CFO assignments and client reporting
• Working on accounting and compliance requirements of foreign clients
• Exposure to International Taxation, DTAA and cross-border transactions
• Assisting in FEMA / RBI / ODI / FDI related assignments
• Client coordination and handling accounting/tax queries

Who Are We Looking For?We would prefer candidates who are pursuing or have discontinued professional courses and want practical exposure along with career growth.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CA Inter / CA Dropout
• CMA/CWA Inter / Dropout
• ACCA pursuing / part-qualified
• MBA – Finance
• M.Com / B.Com with strong accounting knowledge
• Other candidates with good practical accounting and taxation knowledge may also apply
• Skills RequiredStrong accounting fundamentals
• Good understanding of Income Tax
• Working knowledge of Tally / accounting software and MS Excel
• Good analytical and reconciliation skills
• Willingness to learn taxation and advisory work
• Good communication and client-handling skills
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for assignments
