Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Head of HR to lead the complete HR function for a reputed diamond company. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in HR leadership, employee management, talent acquisition, compliance, and organizational development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall HR function and HR strategy.
• Handle end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and manpower planning.
• Develop and implement HR policies, processes, and performance management systems.
• Manage employee relations, engagement, retention, and grievance handling.
• Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
• Oversee payroll, attendance, leave, and HR MIS.
• Develop training, learning, and employee development initiatives.
• Work closely with senior management on workforce planning and organizational requirements.
• Build a strong company culture and effective employee engagement practices.
• Lead and mentor the HR team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant HR experience, preferably in Diamond, Jewellery, Manufacturing, or similar industries.
• Proven experience in a senior HR leadership/Head HR role.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, labour laws, compliance, recruitment, and employee relations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage both strategic HR initiatives and day-to-day HR operations.
