Accountant

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant with at least 1 year of experience to handle day-to-day accounting activities, billing, taxation-related work, and maintain accurate financial records.

• Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain day-to-day accounts and financial records.
• Prepare and manage sales and purchase bills/invoices.
• Handle Tally for accounting entries and record maintenance.
• Manage cash and bank transactions and perform basic bank reconciliation.
• Maintain accounts payable and receivable.
• Assist in GST, TDS and other taxation-related work.
• Maintain proper documentation of invoices, vouchers, bills and other accounting records.
• Perform basic accounting entries such as purchase, sales, receipt, payment and journal entries.
• Assist in preparing GST returns, TDS returns and other statutory compliance as required.
• Verify bills and supporting documents for accuracy.
• Coordinate with vendors, customers and other departments regarding billing and payment-related matters.
• Prepare basic accounting reports and statements as required by management.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of routine accounting activities.
