Job Description
Required Quality Control Engineer for a well-known Exports and Manufacturing Company in Ludhiana.
Qualification : B tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Experience : 2 to 10 Years
Salary : 25-35000
Skills Required :
Measuring Instruments: Proficiency in handling precision tools such as:
- Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, Dial Indicators
- Profile Projectors, Bore Gauges, Thread Gauges
- Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) & Roughness Testers
· Solid understanding of processes like Machining, Forging, Sheet Metal / Press Shop, Welding, and Casting.
Inspection & Testing:
- In-process Inspection & Final/PDI (Pre-Dispatch Inspection)
- Receiving/Incoming Inspection for raw materials and components
- NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) basics (e.g., Dye Penetrant, Magnetic Particle Inspection)
· Quality Systems & Process ToolsQC 7 Tools: Cause & Effect Diagram, Histogram, Control Charts, Pareto Chart, Check Sheet, Scatter Diagram, Process Flow Chart.
Core Quality Concepts:
· PPAP (Production Part Approval Process)
· APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning)
· FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
· SPC (Statistical Process Control) & MSA (Measurement System Analysis)
Documentation & Reporting:
· Preparing PDI Reports, NCR (Non-Conformance Reports), and Inspection Checklists.
· Maintaining calibration records for measuring instruments.
· Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP software (like SAP or Tally) for entry logging.
