Export Marketing / Business Development Executive

We are looking for an experienced Export Marketing / Business Development Executive to develop international business for Pharmaceutical APIs (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients), with a strong focus on African markets.

Key Responsibilities - 

Identify and develop international customers, distributors, importers, and pharmaceutical companies.

Generate leads and enquiries through market research, references, exhibitions, and existing networks.

Promote the company's API product portfolio in overseas markets.

Handle customer enquiries, quotations, negotiations, and order closures.

Build and maintain strong relationships with international customers.

Develop and manage the sales pipeline and achieve business targets.

Research African markets, competitor pricing, product demand, and new business opportunities.

Coordinate with internal teams for pricing, regulatory documents, quality, logistics, and order execution.

Attend international exhibitions, conferences, and customer meetings.

Travel to African countries and other international markets for business development.

Requirements - 

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Pharmaceutical API Export Marketing / International Business Development – Mandatory.

Experience in B2B pharmaceutical sales, export sales, or API marketing.

Good knowledge of pharmaceutical APIs and international markets.

Experience handling overseas customers/distributors/importers.

Willingness to travel internationally, particularly to Africa.

Strong communication, negotiation, sales, and relationship-management skills.

Target-oriented with strong follow-up and business development abilities.

Preferred Background

Candidates from API manufacturers, pharmaceutical exporters, generic pharma companies, CDMOs, pharmaceutical traders, or distributors will be preferred.
