Job Description
- 1–5 years of experience in mechanical/industrial sales preferred.
- Knowledge of mechanical products, equipment, components, or industrial solutions.
- Good understanding of technical drawings and basic engineering concepts.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel for customer meetings and site visits.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office/Excel.
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
- Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities.
- Generate leads through market visits, networking, references, and online channels.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable mechanical products/solutions.
- Prepare and deliver technical and commercial quotations.
- Conduct product presentations and technical discussions with customers.
- Coordinate with engineering, production, purchase, and service teams to meet customer requirements.
- Follow up on enquiries, quotations, orders, deliveries, and payments.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and identify opportunities for repeat business.
- Visit customer sites for requirement assessment, measurements, and technical discussions when required.
- Negotiate prices, commercial terms, and delivery schedules within company guidelines.
- Maintain sales reports, customer records, enquiry pipelines, and sales forecasts.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
