Accountant

We are looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Accountant to handle all aspects of TDS and GST compliance. The ideal candidate will ensure timely and accurate tax deductions, GST filings, reconciliation, and adherence to applicable tax laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

TDS (Tax Deducted at Source):

Deduct and deposit TDS as per applicable sections (194C, 194J, 194H, etc.).

Prepare and file quarterly TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q, etc.).

Generate and issue TDS certificates (Form 16, 16A) to vendors and employees.

Reconcile TDS records with Form 26AS and books of accounts.

Handle notices or queries from the Income Tax Department regarding TDS.

GST (Goods and Services Tax):

Ensure timely and accurate GST return filings (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.).

Reconcile GST input credit with GSTR-2B and purchase registers.

Prepare GST workings and data compilation for returns.

Monitor GST payments and maintain records of challans and filings.

Handle GST assessments, audits, and departmental queries.

Assist in the preparation of e-way bills and compliance with invoice rules.
