Job SummaryWe are seeking an FMCG eCommerce Purchase Executive responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring FMCG products for online marketplaces and quick-commerce platforms. The role ensures optimal cost, uninterrupted stock availability, compliance, and profitability across platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, etc.

• Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement & Vendor ManagementProcure FMCG products from brands, distributors, and authorized suppliers
• Negotiate best purchase prices, schemes, credit terms, and MOQs
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new vendors
• Ensure brand authorization, GST compliance, and legal documentation
• Inventory Planning & Demand ForecastingPlan purchases based on sales velocity, seasonality, and promotions
• Maintain optimum inventory levels to avoid stock-outs or overstock
• Coordinate with warehouse teams on inward schedules and GRNs
• Monitor expiry, batch, and shelf-life compliance
• eCommerce Platform CoordinationAlign purchasing with marketplace demand and offer calendars
• Support price competitiveness, Buy Box strategies, and margin targets
• Coordinate with listing and catalog teams for new SKU onboarding
• Track platform penalties related to stock availability or pricing
• Costing & ProfitabilityCalculate landed cost, platform fees, logistics cost, and margins
• Ensure purchase prices support target ROAS and contribution margin
• Track scheme claims, credit notes, and debit notes
• Documentation & ComplianceMaintain purchase orders, invoices, GRNs, and vendor contracts
• Ensure compliance with FSSAI, Legal Metrology, and marketplace policies
• Support audits and reconciliation processes
• Reporting & AnalysisPrepare daily/weekly/monthly purchase & inventory reports
• Analyze sell-through, dead stock, and slow-moving SKUs
• Recommend corrective actions to improve inventory turnover

• Required Skills & QualificationsEducationBachelor’s degree in Commerce, Supply Chain, Business, or Management
• Experience2–5 years experience in FMCG procurement or eCommerce supply chain
• Experience with Amazon, Flipkart, or Quick Commerce preferred
• SkillsStrong negotiation & vendor management skills
• Understanding of FMCG pricing, margins, and schemes
• Knowledge of GST, invoicing, and compliance
• Proficiency in Excel, ERP, or inventory management systems
• Analytical and detail-oriented approach
• Preferred QualificationsExperience in eCommerce aggregators or multi-brand FMCG sellers
• Exposure to quick-commerce demand cycles
• Knowledge of expiry-driven inventory management
