Engineering Excellence
Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Develop and standardize engineering designs, technical specifications, BoQs, drawings, testing protocols, and execution guidelines across EV charging projects.
Establish engineering standards for civil, electrical, safety, charger integration, accessibility, and equipment deployment to ensure consistency across locations.
Drive value engineering initiatives to optimize project capex, improve quality and reliability, and reduce life-cycle costs.
Evaluate alternative technologies, products, materials, and engineering solutions to improve operational efficiency and project outcomes.
Lead assessment and pilot implementation of new technologies, chargers, transformers, and electrical equipment, recommending deployment based on performance and commercial viability.
Govern technical specifications and BoQs by reviewing design deviations, change requests, and site-specific engineering requirements.
Coordinate with SSU and other internal stakeholders for technical approvals, specification finalization, and BoQ management.
Support technical evaluation, onboarding, capability assessment, and performance monitoring of EPC vendors, OEMs, suppliers, and consultants.
Establish quality and safety assurance frameworks, conduct audits, monitor compliance, and drive closure of critical observations and corrective actions.
Monitor engineering performance through dashboards and reviews covering project milestones, quality, safety, technical risks, vendor performance, cost optimization initiatives, and pilot project outcomes.
Experience
- Approximately 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in engineering, EPC projects, electrical infrastructure, quality assurance, commissioning, or technical vendor management.
- Candidates with at least 7 years of highly relevant EV charging or power infrastructure experience may also be considered, subject to grade norms.
- Experience in multi-site infrastructure execution, technical specification development, BoQ review, value engineering, quality audits, vendor evaluation, pilot projects, and engineering change management.
- Prior exposure to EV charging infrastructure, power distribution, transformers, substations, electrical equipment, or high-capacity electrical installations is preferred.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
