Job Description

Accounts Receivable Responsibilities – Indian Accounting


  1. Manage accounts receivable, invoicing, payment posting & customer reconciliation.
  2. Monitor outstanding balances and prepare AR aging reports for overdue payments.
  3. Follow up with customers for pending payments and manage collection activities.
  4. Prepare GST-compliant invoices and ensure accurate accounting entries.
  5. Reconcile customer accounts, bank transactions & TDS/GST records.
  6. Resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues & customer queries.
  7. Maintain accurate records as per Indian accounting standards & tax regulations.
  8. Assist with month-end closing and prepare AR reports for management.
