Job Description

Fashion Merchandiser – Job Responsibilities


● Product Planning: Planning collections according to market trends, customer preferences and seasonal requirements.


● Trend Research: Researching upcoming fashion trends, colours, fabrics, prints and silhouettes.


● Sourcing: Coordinating with vendors, fabric suppliers and manufacturers for materials and trims.


● Costing & Pricing: Preparing product costing, calculating margins and finalising selling prices.


● Production Coordination: Following up with production teams to ensure timely completion of orders.


● Sampling: Coordinating sample development, fittings, approvals and product modifications.


● Inventory Management: Monitoring stock levels, product availability and fabric consumption.


● Order Management: Tracking purchase orders, production timelines and delivery schedules.


● Quality Control: Ensuring products meet the required quality, finishing and design standards.
