Purchase Executive

Position: Purchase Executive – Used CarsKey Responsibilities:

• Identify and source quality used/second-hand cars through various channels.
• Inspect vehicles and evaluate their overall condition, model, variant, mileage, service history, and market value.
• Conduct vehicle evaluation and identify mechanical, electrical, body, and technical issues.
• Negotiate with customers/sellers to purchase vehicles at the right market price.
• Check and verify RC, insurance, PUC, service records, loan/hypothecation, ownership, and other vehicle documents.
• Assess the vehicle's resale potential, repair cost, and expected margin before purchase.
• Coordinate with the workshop/technical team for vehicle inspection and repair estimation.
• Maintain proper records of purchased vehicles, evaluation reports, documents, and purchase prices.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with individual sellers, dealers, brokers, and other vehicle sources.
• Ensure that vehicles purchased meet the company's quality and pricing standards.
• Required Skills & Qualifications:Previous experience in automobile/used-car purchase or vehicle evaluation is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of 4-wheelers, car models, variants, features, specifications, and market prices.
• Good technical knowledge of vehicles and ability to identify basic mechanical/body issues.
• Knowledge of vehicle valuation and market trends.
• Valid 4-wheeler Driving Licence is mandatory.
• Must be confident and comfortable with 4-wheeler driving.
• Good communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• Basic English communication and computer knowledge.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to vehicle condition and documentation.
• Experience in used-car dealerships, automobile showrooms, vehicle evaluation, or automobile sales/purchase will be preferred.
