CAKE DEORATOR/ CHEF

Location: Pune

Salary: ₹30,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

Read and follow customer orders, instructions, and reference images accurately.

Design and decorate cakes according to customer specifications.

Create sharp-edge cakes, tier cakes, and smooth-finish cakes using whipped cream and chocolate ganache.

Perform precise piping, customized lettering, whipped-cream flowers, airbrushing, gel decoration, and other decorating techniques.

Prepare piping bags with appropriate colours and arrange all required decorating tools and materials.

Ensure cakes are neat, consistent, fresh, and match the required design and presentation.

Track and restock decorating supplies such as chocolate garnishes, sugar balls, sprinkles, colours, nozzles, moulds, and other tools.

Follow food safety, hygiene, and workstation cleanliness standards.

Coordinate with supervisors and team members to ensure cakes are completed and delivered on time.

Required Skills

Strong artistic ability with a good eye for colour, proportion, symmetry, and detail.

Good technical skills in chocolate and whipped-cream piping, sugar flowers, lettering, and airbrushing.

Steady hands and strong attention to detail for intricate cake designs.

Good time-management skills and ability to handle multiple orders during busy periods, festivals, holidays, and wedding seasons.

Strong teamwork and coordination skills.

Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle cake tiers and detailed decorating work.

Requirements

Experience with cake-decorating tools, techniques, and artistic work.

Portfolio/photos of previous cake-decoration work required.

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene is preferred.

Ability to perform detailed handwork and lift/handle cake tiers.
