Job SummarySeeking a Specialist with 5 to 7 years of experience in Oracle database administration focusing on Oracle DBCS and OCI Database Migration
Job Description
Manage and administer Oracle databases within Oracle Database Cloud Service DBCS environments Plan and execute OCI database migration strategies ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity Monitor database performance implement tuning and optimize resource usage in cloud environments Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design scalable and secure Oracle database solutions Maintain database security backup and recovery procedures aligned with organizational policies Stay updated with the latest Oracle Cloud Infrastructure OCI advancements and best practices Troubleshoot and resolve databaserelated issues in a timely manner to ensure high availability Document database architectures migration processes and configurations for knowledge sharing
Roles and Responsibilities
Lead endtoend Oracle database migration projects from onpremises to OCI
Configure and manage Oracle DBCS instances including patching and upgrades
Develop automation scripts to streamline database deployment and maintenance tasks
Conduct performance analysis and implement tuning measures to enhance database efficiency
Ensure compliance with security standards and implement necessary controls
Provide technical guidance and support to junior DBAs and other stakeholders
Collaborate with application teams to support databaserelated requirements and troubleshooting
Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution to safeguard critical data
