Job Description
Job Title: Telecaller
Department: Admissions / Counselling
Industry: Education & Skill Development
Job Responsibilities:
• Make outbound calls to prospective students and leads regarding courses, admissions, and training programs.
• Explain course details, eligibility, duration, fees, and career opportunities clearly.
• Follow up with interested candidates and convert leads into admissions.
• Handle student and parent queries professionally.
• Maintain and update daily call records, lead status, and follow-up details.
• Coordinate with the counselling and academic team for admissions and course-related queries.
• Achieve assigned daily/weekly/monthly calling and admission targets.
• Maintain a positive and professional relationship with students and parents.
Required Skills & Qualities:
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Good listening and convincing skills.
• Ability to communicate confidently and politely with students and parents.
• Good learning ability and willingness to learn new courses, technologies, and processes.
• Ability to understand and explain course information effectively.
• Positive attitude, patience, and professional behaviour.
• Good follow-up and customer-handling skills.
• Basic knowledge of computers and MS Office.
• Ability to work as part of a team and achieve assigned targets.
• Prior experience in telecalling, counselling, sales, or the education sector will be an advantage.
Qualification: 12th Pass / Graduate
