Warehouse Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the warehouse and ensure smooth functioning.
• Maintain proper stock records and inventory management.
• Conduct regular stock taking, physical verification and reconciliation.
• Monitor the movement of incoming and outgoing materials and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure proper storage, organisation and upkeep of all stock.
• Supervise and manage warehouse labour and allocate daily work as required.
• Assign miscellaneous warehouse-related tasks to labour and ensure timely completion.
• Ensure materials are properly handled, stored and protected from damage.
• Coordinate the loading, unloading, shifting and arrangement of materials.
• Identify shortages, damages, discrepancies or other inventory-related issues and report them.
• Maintain cleanliness, organisation and overall upkeep of the warehouse.
• Ensure that materials required for projects and events are properly arranged and ready for dispatch.
• Maintain discipline and productivity among warehouse staff and labour.
• Carry out any other operational or warehouse-related responsibilities as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse management or a similar field.
• Good understanding of inventory and stock management.
• Experience in supervising labour or warehouse staff.
• Ability to maintain proper stock records and conduct physical stock verification.
• Good organisational and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and ensure timely completion of work.
• Basic computer knowledge for maintaining inventory and warehouse records.
• Responsible, disciplined and hands-on approach to work.
