Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting entries and maintain accurate books of accounts.
• Manage sales & purchase invoices, expense entries, receipts, and payments.
• Maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Prepare and maintain bank reconciliation statements (BRS).
• Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance-related work.
• Coordinate with CA/tax consultants for GST, TDS, income tax, and other compliance requirements.
• Prepare monthly expense, payment, collection, and outstanding reports.
• Track client payments, vendor payments, advances, and outstanding amounts.
• Verify bills, invoices, quotations, and supporting documents before processing payments.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
• Monitor petty cash and daily cash transactions.
• Assist management with financial data, reports, and accounting-related information.
• Ensure timely follow-up for pending client payments and vendor dues.
• Maintain confidentiality of company financial information.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related tasks as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Good knowledge of Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
• Working knowledge of GST, TDS, invoicing, and basic taxation.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good numerical and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Honest, responsible, organized, and professional approach.
