Job Description
CASHIER
Job Description – Key Responsibilities
- Billing Operations: Handle customer billing accurately and efficiently as per company procedures.
- Cash Handling: Receive, count and maintain cash and other payment transactions with accuracy.
- Payment Processing: Handle cash, card, UPI and other approved payment modes and ensure proper transaction recording.
- Invoice Generation: Prepare accurate invoices, receipts and other required billing documents.
- Transaction Verification: Verify product details, quantity, price, discounts and payment information before completing billing.
- Customer Assistance: Assist customers with billing-related queries and provide clear information regarding payments and invoices.
- Daily Reconciliation: Reconcile cash, card, UPI and other payment collections with system records at the end of the day.
- Documentation: Maintain proper records of billing transactions, receipts, cancellations, returns and other relevant documents.
- Coordination: Coordinate with Sales, Accounts, Inventory and Showroom Management teams for smooth billing operations.
- Compliance & Security: Follow company billing procedures, cash-handling guidelines, security protocols and internal controls.
