Job Description

International HR Report Specialist

Location: Noida, India

Thales is a global technology leader trusted by governments, institutions, and enterprises to tackle their most demanding challenges. From quantum applications and artificial intelligence to cybersecurity and 6G innovation, our solutions empower critical decisions rooted in human intelligence. Operating at the forefront of aerospace and space, cybersecurity and digital identity, we’re driven by a mission to build a future we can all trust.

Present in India since 1953, Thales is headquartered in Noida and has other operational offices and sites spread across Delhi, Gurugram, Bengaluru and Mumbai, among others. Over 2200 employees are working with Thales and its joint ventures in India. Since the beginning, Thales has been playing an essential role in India’s growth story by sharing its technologies and expertise in Defence, Aerospace and Cyber & Digital sectors. Thales has two engineering competence centres in India - one in Noida focused on Cyber & Digital business, while the one in Bengaluru focuses on hardware, software and systems engineering capabilities for both the civil and defence sectors, serving global needs. The Group has also established an MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) facility in Gurugram to provide comprehensive avionics maintenance and repair services to Indian airlines and support the growth of the local aviation industry.

Within the HR Data Office, the HR Data Analytics team is responsible for transforming HR data into reliable, harmonized, and actionable insights that support decision-making, HR performance, and organizational transformation.

In an environment where HR data is generated across multiple countries, functions, and systems, the team plays a key role in establishing a common and robust view of HR indicators. This includes avoiding duplication, ensuring consistent definitions, improving KPI consistency, and establishing a single source of truth at Group level.

The team acts as a key link between business requirements, HR processes, Group tools, data governance, and business applications.

Its mission extends beyond report production. The team contributes to building a structured HR data function capable of supporting both day-to-day operational requirements and strategic challenges related to management, workforce anticipation, and organizational transformation.

The role will work in an international environment and will support HR data requirements for countries and regions outside France.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the International HR Report Specialist Manager and working closely with the HR Data & Process Governance team, the International HR Report Specialist will be responsible for delivering HR data requirements for international countries and regions through both recurring and ad hoc requests.

The role requires strong operational expertise in Workday and Cornerstone, as well as the ability to work with HR data and reporting requirements across different countries.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Produce accurate HR data extractions and reports to support both recurring and ad hoc business requirements.
  • Validate data consistency and quality before distributing reports, and identify and report any anomalies or inconsistencies.
  • Explain HR indicators, metrics, and reporting results to stakeholders, while clearly documenting assumptions, limitations, and other relevant information required for accurate interpretation.
  • Apply relevant local and legal requirements when preparing HR data and reporting deliverables.
  • Identify recurring reporting requirements and escalate opportunities for automation, process improvement, or dashboard creation.
  • Occasionally contribute to the development of simple dashboards and reporting solutions based on business requirements.

Essential Skills and Knowledge:

  • Ability to produce reliable and accurate HR data extractions and reports using Workday and/or Cornerstone.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data processing for data verification, analysis, and reporting.
  • Ability to validate data consistency, identify anomalies, and ensure data quality before report distribution.
  • Good understanding of local HR and legal regulations applicable to HR reporting and data management.

Desirable Skills and Knowledge:

  • Good understanding of HR KPIs and metrics and how they are used by operational HR teams.
  • Knowledge of Power BI and the ability to contribute to the creation of simple dashboards.
  • Understanding of HR data governance, confidentiality, data security, and data traceability principles.
  • Ability to identify recurring reporting requirements and recommend opportunities for automation or technology-enabled solutions.
