Education Counsellor

We are seeking an fresher / experienced and passionate Education Counsellor to provide guidance and support to students in achieving their academic and personal goals. The successful candidate will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to identify and address individual student needs, develop strategies for academic success, and foster a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Student Guidance: Provide one-on-one counselling sessions to students to discuss their academic progress, goals, and challenges.

2. Academic Advising: Help students choose courses, develop study plans, and create strategies for academic success.

3. Career Guidance: Assist students in exploring career options, creating career plans, and developing skills for future success.

4. Collaboration with Teachers: Work with teachers to identify student needs, develop support plans, and implement strategies for academic success.

5. Parent Communication: Communicate with parents/guardians to keep them informed about student progress, provide guidance on supporting their child's education, and address concerns.

6. Counselling Programs: Develop and implement counselling programs to support student well-being, self-esteem, and social skills.

7. Referral Services: Identify students who may require additional support and refer them to relevant resources, such as mental health services or academic support programs.

Requirements:

1. Education: Master's degree in Education, Counselling, or a related field.

2. Experience: Minimum 0-3 years of experience in education counselling or a related field.

3. Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

4. Knowledge: Strong understanding of student development, academic advising, and counselling theories and practices.
