Accountant

About the Role

Chitod Infra Projects, a growing structural fabrication and construction company, is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant & Billing Executive to manage day-to-day accounting, project billing, financial records and payment follow-ups.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting entries, purchase bills, sales invoices and expense records.
• Prepare client invoices, RA bills, measurement sheets and supporting billing documents.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable and payment follow-ups.
• Perform bank reconciliation and maintain cash and bank records.
• Coordinate with site engineers for work measurements, billing details and project expenses.
• Track outstanding payments, supplier dues and project-wise costs.
• Assist with GST, TDS, payroll and statutory documentation in coordination with the Chartered Accountant.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, expense summaries and cash-flow statements.
• Maintain proper filing of vouchers, invoices, purchase orders and other financial documents.

Requirements

• B.Com or equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance.
• 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in construction, fabrication or contracting.
• Working knowledge of Tally, Excel, GST and TDS.
• Strong organisational skills, accuracy, integrity and follow-up abilities.
