Job Description – FMCG Quality Control ExecutiveCompany: Annapurna Spices
Position: Quality Control Executive
Department: Quality Control / Production
Location: Rajpura, Punjab
Employment Type: Full-Time
- Job ResponsibilitiesCheck the quality of raw materials, spices, ingredients, packaging materials, and finished products.
- Conduct regular quality checks during production and packing.
- Check colour, smell, texture, moisture, appearance, weight, and other quality parameters.
- Ensure products meet company quality standards and applicable FSSAI requirements.
- Check incoming raw materials and maintain proper inspection records.
- Monitor production and packing processes for quality compliance.
- Collect samples and coordinate for laboratory testing whenever required.
- Maintain QC reports, batch records, testing records, COA and other quality documents.
- Identify quality issues and coordinate with Production for corrective action.
- Check packaging, sealing, labelling, batch number, MRP, expiry date and product information.
- Maintain hygiene, GMP and food-safety standards on the production floor.
- Prepare daily quality reports and submit EOD reports to management.
- Support internal inspections, audits and customer quality requirements.
Educational QualificationCandidates should have a background in:
- B.Sc./B.Tech Food Technology
- Food Science / Food Processing
- B.Sc. Microbiology
- B.Sc. Chemistry / Biochemistry
- Food & Nutrition
- Diploma in Food Technology / Food Processing
- Other relevant food-science qualifications
- Experience1–3 years of experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, spices, food processing or a similar industry preferred.
- Freshers with relevant educational qualifications and good knowledge of food quality may also be considered.
- Required SkillsKnowledge of FSSAI and food safety standards
- Knowledge of GMP, GHP and HACCP
- Raw material and finished-product inspection
- Basic food/adulteration testing knowledge
- QC documentation and reporting
- Good observation and analytical skills
- MS Excel and basic computer knowledge
- Good communication and coordination skills
Preferred CandidateCandidate should be disciplined, detail-oriented and comfortable working on the production floor, with a strong focus on food safety and product quality.
