Job description:
Job Role and Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Social Science lessons (History, Geography, Civics) in alignment with the CBSE syllabus.
Develop and implement lesson plans, teaching aids, and assessment tools that promote critical thinking and understanding of social, political, and economic concepts.
Maintain accurate records of students’ academic progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
Conduct classroom assessments, periodic tests, and prepare students for board examinations.
Create a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and inquiry-based learning.
Integrate ICT tools and creative teaching methods to make learning interactive and effective.
Participate actively in school events, parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
Ensure discipline and uphold the values and ethos of the institution.
Collaborate with other teachers and school administration for curriculum planning and co-curricular activities.

Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in History / Geography / Political Science /MSW.
B.Ed. (mandatory, as per CBSE norms).
Minimum 01–05 years of teaching experience in CBSE school preferred.
Primary: candidates should handle primary classes.
Secondary: Candidates should handle 6th to 10th in CBSE syllabus.
Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written)
Ability to motivate and inspire students.
Familiarity with CBSE examination pattern and evaluation process.
