Field Executive

Job purposeTo mobilize eligible rural youth for DDU-GKY skill development programmes, generate quality leads, counsel prospective candidates and their families, verify preliminary eligibility, and ensure enrolment against the centre's assigned targets in accordance with scheme guidelines.

Key responsibilities1. Candidate mobilization and lead generation

• Identify eligible youth in assigned villages, blocks, and districts.
• Conduct village visits, community meetings, awareness campaigns, job fairs, and mobilization drives.
• Generate candidate leads through local networks, community organizations, educational institutions, NGOs, and digital channels.
• Maintain a consistent pipeline of prospective candidates against monthly enrolment targets.

2. Counselling and awareness

• Explain DDU-GKY benefits, eligibility criteria, course details, residential facilities, training duration, and placement support.
• Counsel candidates and parents on career opportunities, employment prospects, and relocation requirements.
• Address queries and objections to improve candidate participation and joining rates.

3. Candidate screening and enrolment

• Conduct preliminary screening against applicable eligibility criteria.
• Collect and verify required documents, including identity, education, residence, and category-related documents as applicable.
• Coordinate with the Centre Head for candidate verification, batch planning, and final enrolment.
• Ensure candidates understand the programme before joining.

4. Field activity and reporting

• Prepare daily field visit plans and maintain village-wise mobilization records.
• Record leads, counselling, document collection, enrolments, and joining status in the prescribed MIS.
• Maintain attendance, travel distance, local conveyance, and field activity records as required.
• Submit daily and weekly progress reports to the reporting manager.

5. Community and stakeholder engagement

• Build relationships with Gram Panchayats, local administration, community leaders, colleges, ITIs, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Support government-approved mobilization campaigns and outreach activities.
• Coordinate with the Placement Coordinator to communicate relevant employment opportunities to candidates.
