We are seeking a Corporate Trainer with a strong knowledge of the startup ecosystem to join our team. The Corporate Trainer will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs to our employees on various aspects of our services, products, sales and marketing, with a specific emphasis on the startup industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver effective training programs tailored to meet the needs of our employees, with a focus on services, products, and sales and marketing within the startup ecosystem.
Collaborate with department heads and subject matter experts to identify training needs, goals, and objectives, particularly related to the startup industry.
Create and update training modules, presentations, and materials to ensure they are up-to-date and align with our offerings in the startup sector.
Conduct training sessions, workshops, and seminars, fostering an engaging and interactive learning environment with a deep understanding of the startup ecosystem.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics and make necessary improvements, ensuring alignment with startup industry trends.
Provide in-depth training on our specific services, including Certification Services, Business Registration, Documentation Services, IT Services, and Fund-Raising Support Services.
Offer hands-on guidance in areas such as business registration processes, documentation requirements, and the effective utilization of our IT services.
Develop and implement training programs that enhance our clients' understanding of government schemes and funding opportunities relevant to the startup ecosystem.
Collaborate with our technology team to ensure that employees have a strong grasp of our software tools and platforms.
Keep abreast of industry changes, updates in government policies, and emerging trends in the startup ecosystem and incorporate this knowledge into training materials.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Proven experience as a Corporate Trainer or in a related role with a strong understanding of the startup ecosystem.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to create engaging and effective training materials, specifically focused on startups.
Proficiency in using e-learning platforms and training software.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Enthusiastic, adaptable, and a passion for teaching and coaching within the startup context.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

NavGurukul’s flagship Residential program works with learners from underserved communities to help them become programmers and gives them a guaranteed job once they finish the program. Besides the Residential program, we have two more programs: Meraki and Code India Fellowship. Through Meraki, we work with students from government schools and ITIs through an online offering to help students learn basic English, touch typing, and programming. Code India Fellowship works with young freshers from India’s top colleges to transform learning outcomes in government high schools and ITIs and ensure the employability of students graduating from these programs. 
About Meraki Team at NavGurukul : 
Meraki, as an organization, is part of NavGurukul Foundation for Social Welfare. It started in 2020 to bring low-cost online tech education to students from low-income families across India. NavGurukul already runs successful campus programs across India, and Meraki is an extension of that effort. Meraki is an online learning platform, founded and developed by Navgurukul. Meraki’s vision is to build and sustain an android application and web one, focused on making programming and digital skills accessible to learners from different communities, through a smartphone or through a computer. Currently, Meraki is actively working in two states with 400+ schools, and there are more partnerships in the pipeline to expand its reach even further.

About the role
We are seeking experienced and dedicated freelancers to provide training and support to teachers and government stakeholders in effectively integrating AI and Scratch-Python into their curriculum and other educational programmes, by conducting and facilitating workshops and trainings in different parts of the country. 
Your primary role will involve leading engaging workshops and professional development sessions, where you will provide teachers with the essential tools and resources to create meaningful and innovative learning experiences using the Meraki curriculum.
Conduct Training Sessions:
Deliver comprehensive training programs and workshops to teachers, focusing on Scratch programming concepts, pedagogy, and effective instructional strategies.
Provide hands-on guidance and support to teachers in navigating the Meraki platform, exploring its features, and creating interactive projects.
Foster a collaborative and interactive learning environment, encouraging teachers to share ideas, experiences, and best practices related to AI.
Customize training sessions to meet the specific needs and skill levels of teachers, catering to various grade levels and subject areas.
Assist the Meraki team by giving inputs on designing the curriculum for training and workshop based on the suggestions and feedback received from stakeholders during and after the training sessions. 
Offer continuous support to teachers beyond training sessions, providing feedback, and addressing challenges related to program implementation.

 
Apply if you have
Fluency in Hindi and English 
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field or related experience which can compensate for the absence in the degree or formal education 
Extensive experience teaching programming, focusing on Scratch.
Proven experience in delivering training sessions or workshops to teachers, preferably in an educational or professional development setting.
Strong knowledge of curriculum design principles and practices, including the ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans and activities.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.

NavGurukul's salaries are at par with most not-for-profits in the country. As it is a freelancing role, compensation will be determined based on the number of days worked and the overall years of experience, among other factors.
