Role & responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Solar EPC Design & Engineering Specialist to join our organisation. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the planning, design, and execution of solar energy projects, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to industry standards. The Solar EPC Design & Engineering Specialist will be responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and managing the engineering aspects of solar projects, from initial design through construction and commissioning.Interaction with clients ,site survey's & closing the deal.



Responsibilities:



1. Solar Project Design:
- Lead the conceptual and detailed design of solar photovoltaic (PV) projects, considering factors such as site conditions, shading analysis, and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solar solutions into existing or new construction projects.



2. Engineering & Analysis:
- Conduct detailed engineering analyses, including electrical, structural, and civil aspects, to ensure the feasibility and efficiency of solar projects.
- Develop and review technical specifications, drawings, and engineering documents.



3. Technology Evaluation:
- Stay abreast of the latest solar technologies and advancements, evaluating their applicability and potential impact on project performance.
- Recommend and implement improvements to enhance the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of solar designs.



4. Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national regulations and codes related to solar energy projects.
- Interface with regulatory bodies to obtain necessary approvals and permits.



5. Procurement Support:
- Collaborate with procurement teams to identify and evaluate suppliers and contractors for solar components and services.
- Assist in the preparation of technical specifications for procurement processes.



Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical)/ Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical);
- Proven experience in solar EPC design and engineering, with a minimum of 6 years in a similar role.
- Proficient in relevant software tools for solar design and analysis.
- In-depth knowledge of solar PV technologies, components, and system integration.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations in the solar & electrical industry.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
