Vaishnav Fasteners is a 35-year-old precision fastener manufacturer supplying to leading OEMs like Schneider Electric and Siemens.
We produce over 20 million screws and assemblies per month across our Vasai, Mira Road, and Dharkhadi plants.
We’re building a modern, data-driven quality system — and looking for disciplined, detail-oriented Junior Inspectors to join our quality team.
Role Overview
As a Junior Quality Inspector, you’ll be responsible for in-process inspection and data recording on running machines to ensure production quality and prevent defects.
This is a gig-based role — you can earn 30–50% more than a regular salary through consistent performance, attendance, and inspection output.
Key Responsibilities
Check 5 pieces per machine every 60 minutes using measuring tools (vernier, micrometer, thread gauge, etc.).
Perform first-piece and last-piece inspection for every setup.
Ensure the correct drawing is displayed on each machine.
Record readings neatly and accurately in the given sheet/app.
Tag and segregate defective parts when found.
Cooperate with senior quality staff for audits and process improvements.

Skills & Requirements
Basic knowledge of measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Gauges).
Able to read basic technical drawings (training will be provided).
Reliable, attentive, and willing to learn.
Comfortable working 12-hour day shifts, 6 days a week.
Education: ITI / Diploma / 12th Pass preferred.
Experience in fasteners / press parts / machining industries is a plus.

Earning Structure (Gig Model)
Your earning depends on attendance, inspection performance, and quality accuracy.
Inspection output & data bonus: ₹500–₹650/day (Based on pieces checked)
Punctuality / Overtime : ₹150-350/day
full-week streak: ₹200–₹500/week
Earning Range : ₹18000-25000

Dahisar Unit: Near Sheetal Restaurant, Vaishali Nagar

Welding InspectorRole Summary:Flowserve is currently looking for a Welding Inspector. In this role you will be in charge of coordinating and managing the Welding inspection compliance  ensuring the quality and safety of welded parts in adherence to standards to prevent defects and ensure the integrity of welded components. You will requires additional  understanding the general and technical requirements of welding processThe role involves to understand fabrication drawings , inspecting welding materials ,Welding inspection parameters, dimension &amp; visual inspection and  ensure the highest quality and efficiency in welding projects. Operational Excellence &amp; High Level of Customer Service Standard.   Key Responsibilities &amp; Requirements: 1. Pre-Welding Inspection:   1.1 Review Regulations and Standards: Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations, codes, and industry standards.   1.2 Fabrication Drawings: Verify that fabrication drawings and specifications are accurate and complete.   1.3 Materials and Equipment:        a. Inspect welding materials and equipment to ensure they meet required standards and specifications.       b. Supervise base material preparation, electrode storage, and welding operations before welding.       c. Cross verify calibration certificates of the all welding inspection tools and equipment.2. During Welding Inspection:   2.1 Monitor Welding Parameters: Ensure welding parameters like voltage, amperage, travel speed, and heat input as per applicable WPS.   2.2 Visual Inspection: Inspect the root penetration, bead size, and overall quality of the weld.   2.3 Compliance Checks: Ensure that welding procedures are being followed and that welders are qualified for the tasks they are performing.  2.4 Support Weld repair process3. Post-Welding Inspection:   3.1 Non-Destructive Testing: Conduct non-destructive tests (NDT) such as ultrasonic testing, radiographic testing, magnetic particle testing, and dye penetrant testing.   3.2 Visual and Dimensional Inspection:       a. Verify that the welds meet visual and dimensional requirements.       b. weld seams to ensure they are free of cracks, porosity, and other defects. 3.3 Defect Identification: Identify any defects or discontinuities in the weld and determine if repairs are necessary.4. Documentation:   4.1 Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of inspections, welding procedures, material traceability, and any repairs or rework performed.   4.2 Inspection Reports: Prepare and submit inspection reports summarizing findings, compliance, and any recommended actions.  4.3 Inspection Reports: Documenting inspection findings and reporting any non-conformities and implementing corrective actions when necessary.5. Quality Assurance:   5.1 Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS): Ensure that the WPS are being followed correctly.   5.2 Welder Qualifications: Verify that welders have the necessary qualifications and certifications.   5.3 Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance welding quality and efficiency.   5.4 Support in Conduct welding procedure qualification tests (PQR) and prepare welding procedure specifications (WPS)  5.5 Review Supplier WPS, PQR and provide necessary support for approval and submitting the same to customer for approval as required. 5.6  Support for Auditing Supplier Fabrication shop and improve their Quality performance6. Communication:   6.1 Team Collaboration: Work closely with production welding engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure successful project execution.   6.2 Feedback: Provide feedback to welders and other personnel regarding welding quality and areas for improvement.Overall Responsibilities<ul><li>Ensure inspection of inhouse and supplier (as required) fabrication parts and  ensure calibration of equipment, Inspection and records.</li><li>Support Customer inspection as required for welding related activities .</li><li>Support (as required ) inspection  for  Welding Radiography for Castings and Pipe welding.</li><li>Participate in external supplier quality testing and audits related to welding as and when required.</li><li>Continuously improve the Welding inspection process by driving  Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) events</li><li>Drive Welding related KPIs and drive effective root cause corrective actions where appropriate to address gaps to agreed targets.</li><li>Participate in customer meetings for any welding inspection related issue or process discussion. </li></ul>Required Experience ,Qualifications and Skills<ul><li>BE Mech with 8-10 yrs experience or DME with 08-13 yrs experience in Welding &amp; Overall Quality preferably in Pump's OEM environment.</li><li>NDE certification for MPI, LP, UT, RT &amp; VT</li><li>Certified CSWIP level-1 /2</li><li>Knowledge of Piping Fabrication &amp; supervision of fabrication activities.</li><li>Knowledge of inspection equipment found in machining, assembly and test operations of pumps and associated accessories</li><li>Knowledge of ISO 9001 QMS.</li><li>Qualification &amp; knowledge of ISO 3834-2 Compliance</li><li>Experience in implementation of Welding WPQ &amp; WPS.</li><li>Knowledge of Pressure vessels as per ASME section VIII Div 1</li><li>Knowledge of Weld Map preparation.</li><li>Sufficient practical experience of Radiography testing &amp; film review.</li><li>Experience in quality control department</li><li>Proficient in Data analysis tools &amp; techniques, corrective action request management, RCA and CAPA tools.</li><li>Understanding of product/ Process flow</li><li>Strong Organizational skills</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite , English &amp; Fluent in business conversation</li><li>Flexible, eager to learn, accurate, analytical with positive, can-do attitude.</li></ul><h4>Experience Level</h4>Mid Level
