Role Purpose

The role is responsible for provisioning using the ECL model and daily asset classification. The incumbent is expected to be the ECL SME. Further, this role will be the lead for developing Data Risk governance ecosystem in the company. This role also includes managing debt sale process end to end including post sale management.

Role Accountability

1. Own the ECL model and Asset classification in the company
2. Ensure timely and error free ECL model refresh
3. Ensure timely and error free Asset classification
4. Liase with Finance for various ECL related insights
5. Address data queries regarding asset quality and ECL
6. Liase with Stat Auditors, RBI, CAG etc. for audits
7. Develop the Data Governance operating model
8. Lead the Data Governance projects in the company
9. Evaluate portfolio for sale to ARC
10. Execute debt sale and manage both pre and post-sale process with buyers and internal stakeholders

1. Timely & accurate delivery of all regulatory & investor reporting
2. Timely delivery of all projects
3. Process Adherence as per MOU
4. Financial acumen

Technical Skills / Experience / Certifications

1. Good knowledge of SAS, MS Office, BI tools (SAS VA / Tableau / Qlikview) etc. Knowledge of R / Python preferred
2. Ability to understand all credit card related data elements
3. Strong understanding of modelling concepts and model monitoring as a line of defense
4. Ability to work in a distributed data storage environment
5. String financial acumen

 Qualification

Graduation / Master’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Operations Research, Mathematics, Engineering, Business, or related field with a strong quantitative emphasis
