Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. The role requires working with modern development frameworks and following agile methodologies to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient software that meets unique business requirements. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and continuous refinement of software elements to enhance performance and functionality are integral parts of the daily workflow.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement best practices within the team to improve software development processes.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align software solutions with business objectives.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in DevSecOps.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with AWS Administration, GitLab CI/CD.
- Strong knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Experience with infrastructure as code and automated security testing.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies.
- Ability to integrate security practices seamlessly into the software development lifecycle.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in DevSecOps.
- This position is based at our BDC14A - STPI office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
