Summary:
In the role of Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineering Lead, a typical day involves taking ownership of the design and continuous improvement of packaged or Software as a Service solutions. This includes managing the configuration, overseeing integrations with various systems, and coordinating release activities. The role requires setting and maintaining platform standards to ensure the solutions remain stable and perform efficiently while aligning with both business requirements and vendor limitations. Collaboration with multiple stakeholders to drive the evolution of the platform is a key aspect of daily responsibilities.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to define and enforce best practices and standards for platform development and deployment.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and enhance team capabilities.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Spring Boot.
- Strong experience in designing and implementing scalable and maintainable backend services using Spring Boot framework.
- Knowledge of integration patterns and experience with configuring and managing APIs and third-party service integrations.
- Familiarity with release management processes and tools to ensure smooth deployment cycles.
- Ability to establish and enforce platform standards that balance technical excellence with business and vendor constraints.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues within distributed systems.
Must Have:
Java (Core)
Spring Framework (Spring Core, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring DAO including Spring JDBC and Spring ORM)
Hibernate
REST API development
Java Design Patterns
Microservices architecture
React.js (for full-stack or integration tasks)
Nice to Have:
Docker & Kubernetes (containerization and orchestration)
Azure Cloud Services
CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Ansible)
Database experience: PostgreSQL, Oracle

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in Spring Boot.
- This position is based at client onsite locations within India.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
