NTT DATA, Inc. currently seeks an “SAP BASIS ADMINISTRATOR” to join our team in “INDIA”.

 

Client's business problem to solve?

 

• Manage SAP system landscape (DEV/QA/PRD) supporting the RAR implementation project
• Perform system installations, upgrades, patches (support packs), and kernel updates for RAR/S/4HANA components
• Set up and maintain transport management (STMS) across landscape for RAR configuration and custom objects
• Monitor system performance, background jobs, and batch processing related to RAR data loads and revenue postings
• Manage user authorizations/roles for RAR project team and functional testers
• Support client copies, system refreshes, and sandbox environment setup for testing
• Troubleshoot system-level issues impacting RAR processing (memory, database, interfaces)
• Coordinate with Basis/infrastructure teams for cutover weekend activities and go-live support
• Ensure database (HANA) performance tuning for RAR reporting/analytics workloads

 

Position's General Duties and Tasks

In these roles you will be responsible for:

• Manage SAP system landscape (DEV/QA/PRD) supporting the RAR implementation project
• Perform system installations, upgrades, patches (support packs), and kernel updates for RAR/S/4HANA components
• Set up and maintain transport management (STMS) across landscape for RAR configuration and custom objects
• Monitor system performance, background jobs, and batch processing related to RAR data loads and revenue postings
• Manage user authorizations/roles for RAR project team and functional testers
• Support client copies, system refreshes, and sandbox environment setup for testing
• Troubleshoot system-level issues impacting RAR processing (memory, database, interfaces)
• Coordinate with Basis/infrastructure teams for cutover weekend activities and go-live support
• Ensure database (HANA) performance tuning for RAR reporting/analytics workloads

Requirements for this role include:

• 5+ years SAP Basis administration experience
• Experience supporting S/4HANA environments
• Strong knowledge of transport management, system monitoring, and authorization concepts
• Experience supporting large-scale implementation projects (preferably FI/RAR or SD-related)
• Availability to support cutover/go-live activities (including off-hours as needed)

 

Preferences:  -

• HANA database administration certification
• Experience with SAP RAR or revenue-related project landscapes

 

Required schedule availability for this position is Monday-Friday (CST).  The shift timings can be changed as per client requirements. Additionally, resources may have to do overtime and work on weekend’s basis business requirement.
