Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project s technical direction and serving as the main liaison for stakeholders. The position demands coordinating with various teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of solutions, while continuously overseeing the progress and quality of the software being developed. The role also includes troubleshooting challenges that arise during the development lifecycle and ensuring that the applications meet the required standards and expectations.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the planning and execution of software development activities to meet project goals.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination between cross-functional teams to align project objectives.
- Continuously evaluate and improve development processes to enhance team productivity and software quality.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns.
- Experience with application servers and deployment of enterprise applications.
- Familiarity with database integration and management within Java applications.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Experience in debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting complex software issues.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Java Enterprise Edition.
- This position is based at our Coimbatore office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
