We are currently seeking a ColdFusion L2/L3 Application Support Specialist to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced ColdFusion L2/L3 Application Support Specialist responsible for supporting and maintaining business-critical applications built on Adobe ColdFusion. The role requires strong production troubleshooting skills, incident ownership, root-cause analysis, application monitoring, database troubleshooting, and coordination across infrastructure, database, development, and business teams.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L2/L3 production support for Adobe ColdFusion applications, ensuring application availability and stability.
  • Own and resolve P1/P2/P3 incidents within defined SLA/OLA timelines, including participation in major incident calls.
  • Troubleshoot application failures, performance degradation, connectivity issues, scheduled-job failures, integration errors, and data-related incidents.
  • Analyze ColdFusion, application, web server, and database logs to identify root causes.
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical and recurring incidents and drive corrective/preventive actions.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, database connections, and data-processing issues.
  • Perform minor CFML/ColdFusion code fixes, configuration changes, patches, and production defect remediation.
  • Monitor application health, interfaces, batch processes, scheduled jobs, server resources, and production alerts.
  • Support deployment and release activities, including pre-deployment checks, implementation, smoke testing, validation, and rollback.
  • Coordinate with development, infrastructure, DBA, network, security, and third-party teams for complex issue resolution.
  • Manage incidents, problems, service requests, and changes in accordance with ITIL processes.
  • Maintain support documentation, SOPs, troubleshooting guides, known-error records, and knowledge-base articles.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, monitoring improvements, and reduction of recurring incidents.
  • Participate in on-call or shift-based support as required.

 

Required Technical Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Adobe ColdFusion / CFML and troubleshooting ColdFusion applications.
  • Good understanding of ColdFusion components (CFCs), templates, session/application management, scheduled tasks, data sources, and error handling.
  • Strong SQL and database troubleshooting skills with SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or similar RDBMS.
  • Experience with IIS/Apache, HTTP/HTTPS, web application architecture, and application/server logs.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, and application integrations.
  • Experience with production monitoring, alerting, debugging, and performance troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of Incident, Problem, Change, Release, and Major Incident Management processes.
  • Experience with ServiceNow, source-control systems, and deployment/CI-CD tools.

 

Preferred Skills

Experience with legacy ColdFusion applications, ColdFusion upgrades/migrations, security remediation, performance tuning, Windows/Linux environments, scripting/automation, and AWS/Azure would be advantageous.
