Title:

Senior Software Quality Assurance Analyst

KBR is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to support the testing and validation of enterprise business applications, ERP platforms, system integrations, and IT initiatives across a global technology environment. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on software quality assurance activities to ensure technology solutions meet business requirements, operational needs, and quality standards.

Working closely with business stakeholders, functional analysts, developers, project teams, and infrastructure teams, the QA Analyst will support application enhancements, upgrades, integrations, data migrations, and new technology implementations. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and testing skills with hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing within complex enterprise environments.

This is a permanent, full-time position based in India.

In September 2025, KBR announced that we are spinning our Mission Technology Solutions business into a separate public company. This role will ultimately be part of the new company. The Mission Technology Solutions business partners with governments and defense, intelligence, space, aviation, and critical infrastructure customers to deliver high-end engineering, science, technology, and mission support solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review business, functional, and technical requirements to identify testing scope, quality risks, and validation requirements.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test data to support project and operational testing activities.
  • Execute functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing activities across enterprise applications and business processes.
  • Validate application functionality, workflows, interfaces, integrations, and data conversions to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements.
  • Document test results, provide testing evidence, and communicate findings to project stakeholders.
  • Create, manage, and execute automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and support regression testing efforts.
  • Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects through resolution and retesting.
  • Collaborate with development, functional, and infrastructure teams to investigate issues and validate corrective actions.
  • Monitor testing progress, prepare status reports, and communicate quality metrics, risks, and testing outcomes.
  • Support ERP implementations, system upgrades, enhancements, integrations, and transformation initiatives.
  • Ensure testing activities comply with established quality assurance processes, standards, and governance requirements.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with business users, project teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing within enterprise application environments.
  • Experience with test planning, test case development, manual testing, automated testing, defect management, and test reporting.
  • Experience testing ERP systems, enterprise business processes, and application integrations.
  • Experience using enterprise test management and defect tracking tools such as Azure DevOps Test Plans, ServiceNow Test Management, OpenText Quality Center (ALM), or similar platforms.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, quality assurance processes, and defect lifecycle management.
  • Experience performing functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or OpenText Unified Functional Testing (UFT).
  • Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate testing results and quality risks.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams in a fast-paced project environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ERP platforms such as Deltek, SAP, or similar enterprise systems.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or other IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms.
  • Experience with test automation and performance testing tools, including Playwright, Selenium, OpenText LoadRunner, and UFT.
  • Programming or scripting experience using C#, .NET, VB.NET, SQL, PowerShell, or related technologies.
  • Experience supporting large-scale ERP implementations, upgrades, or digital transformation programs.
  • Experience working within regulated environments requiring audit-ready testing documentation, traceability, and compliance controls.
  • Familiarity with enterprise application integrations, data validation, and end-to-end business process testing.
