Roles & responsibilities:

The position in discussion is with the SUT Compliance team in Indirect Tax Service line at KPMG Global Services (KGS). This role is an integral part of the firm’s strategy to enhance innovation,

1. Preparation and Filing Indirect Tax returns for KPMG US clients.

2.  Processing Tax Bills, Value Notices, completing registration forms and logging notices from multiple Jurisdiction.

3. Work on multiple client engagements to collect data and update the
   compliance management systems for indirect tax.
4. Researching state and local indirect tax legislation and assisting
   with drafting client responses and memo preparation.
5. Assisting with billing preparation and account reconciliation.
6. Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and
   streamline workflow.

This role is for you if you have  the below

Educational qualifications

1. Minimum master’s degree from reputable universities with excellent
   academic result, majoring n Accounting or Finance.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs, including
   spreadsheet programs (i.e. Excel).
3. Understanding of indirect taxes, 1– 2 years of experience in Indirect
   Taxation.
