Job Description
What We Are Looking For
We need a technology leader who is equally comfortable managing a team and personally troubleshooting critical infrastructure.
This is not a purely managerial IT position.
The ideal candidate should have strong practical experience in:
* Core Routing & Switching
* BGP / OSPF
* ISP & Broadband Networks
* FTTH / GPON
* OLT / ONU / ONT
* PPPoE / RADIUS / AAA
* Multiple Internet Upstreams & Redundancy
* Firewalls / VPN / ACL / IDS/IPS
* Cyber Security & Incident Response
* Linux & Windows Servers
* Backup & Disaster Recovery
* NMS / Network Monitoring
* Digital Headend / Broadcast Infrastructure
* Multicast / IPTV
* Team & Vendor Management
Experience
7–12 years preferred, with strong hands-on experience in networking and infrastructure.
Candidates from ISP, Broadband, Telecom, FTTH, Cable TV or Digital Broadcasting environments will be preferred.
Qualification
B.Tech/B.E. (CS/IT/ECE), MCA, M.Sc. IT or equivalent preferred.
Candidates with alternative qualifications may also be considered if they possess exceptional hands-on experience and relevant technical certifications.
Preferred Certifications
CCNA / CCNP / MTCNA / MTCRE / Fortinet / Palo Alto / Sophos / Linux / Cyber Security certifications will be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage ISP/Broadband and core network infrastructure
* Manage FTTH/GPON and OLT infrastructure
* Manage routing, switching and Internet upstream redundancy
* Strengthen cyber security across network and systems
* Manage firewalls, VPNs and privileged access
* Manage servers, backup and disaster recovery
* Manage Digital Headend/Broadcast infrastructure
* Establish effective 24×7 monitoring and escalation
* Lead IT/Network/NOC teams
* Manage OEMs, vendors and AMCs
* Maintain complete network and infrastructure documentation
* Identify single points of failure and improve network resilience
Who Should Apply?
