Job Description
Job Title: Legal Advocate
Location: Bodakdev
Job Type: Full-time
Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced legal advocate to handle all legal matters related to real estate and property development within our builder’s office. The advocate will ensure that all transactions, agreements, and compliances are legally sound and protect the company’s interests, while also ensuring transparency for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Draft, review, and vet legal documents including sale agreements, MoUs, title deeds, and lease agreements.
• Ensure all projects are compliant with RERA and other applicable real estate laws.
• Provide legal support in property registrations, title verification, due diligence, and land acquisition.
• Represent the company in legal disputes, litigation, arbitration, or regulatory hearings.
• Maintain records of all legal documents and correspondence.
• Handle customer legal queries regarding agreements, possession, and documentation.
• Coordinate with government departments and legal authorities as required.
Qualifications:
• LLB degree from a recognized university.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in real estate law (preferred).
• Knowledge of RERA, Transfer of Property Act, and other relevant laws.
Skills Required:
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Excellent knowledge of property law and real estate compliance.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle legal disputes and client interactions tactfully.
Secondary Responsibilities
In line with the company's operational philosophy, this role carries meaningful administrative responsibilities that support site management and reporting functions.
A. Documentation Control
• Maintain an organized, up-to-date digital filing system for all project assets including progress photographs, site logs, reports, and recorded footage archives.
• Ensure all documentation is version-controlled, properly labelled, and retrievable on short notice for management or audit purposes.
• Manage folder structures on designated cloud storage (MEGA Drive) ensuring footage archives are clean, accessible, and backed up.
B. Site Monitoring Assistance
• Serve as the central point of contact for retrieving site-related data on management request — including progress photos, logbook entries, and specific recorded footage segments.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and department leads to source relevant documentation in a timely manner.
C. Report Compilation
• Assist the HOD in compiling weekly progress reports by gathering data inputs from various operational sources.
• Prepare structured summaries of surveillance observations, incident logs, and camera health status for inclusion in management reports.
D. Cross-Functional Operational Support
• Participate in cross-departmental initiatives where technical or general operational support is required.
• Support vendor liaison, digital asset retrieval, or site coordination tasks as directed by Management.
• Demonstrate operational flexibility appropriate to a growth-oriented organisation, contributing beyond defined role boundaries when business continuity demands it.
