Electrical Engineer

 Foundry Electrical Engineer maintains, troubleshoots, and improves electrical systems in a foundry setting, including induction furnaces, PLCs, VFDs, and high-pressure molding lines. 

• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on HT/LT systems, motors, and electrical panels.
• System Optimization: Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLCs (e.g., Siemens), SCADA, HMI, and VFD systems.
• Foundry Equipment Support: Maintain specialized machinery, including induction furnaces, sand plants, and core shooters.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all machinery adheres to safety regulations, electrical standards, and statutory norms.
• Project Management: Lead equipment erection, commissioning, and energy-saving initiatives.
• Documentation: Maintain logs of maintenance, repairs, and shift activities. [1, 2, 3]
• Furnaces:
• Electrical systems for induction furnaces, arc furnaces, and other types of melting equipment.
• Sand Plant:
• Electrical systems for sand preparation, molding, and core making processes.
• Fettling:
• Electrical systems for grinding, shot blasting, and other finishing processes.
• Utilities:
• Electrical systems for compressed air, water, and other utilities.
• Material Handling:
• Electrical systems for conveyors, cranes, and other material transport equipment.
