Hardware Engineer

Job Summary:

The Executive–Hardware Testing is responsible for testing, validating, and troubleshooting electronic hardware products. The role ensures that all products meet

the company's quality standards before dispatch. The candidate will perform functional testing, firmware validation, hardware diagnostics, and coordinate with the Production, R&D, Service, and Quality teams to improve product reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

Hardware Testing

 Perform functional testing of Access Control Controllers, Biometric Devices, Face Recognition Devices, RFID Readers, BLE Readers, Elevator Controllers, Power Supply Units, and other hardware products.

 Verify product functionality as per Test Procedures (SOPs).

 Verify LED indications, relay outputs, communication ports, sensors, fingerprint modules, cameras, displays, RFID functionality, and biometric performance.

Firmware & Software Validation

Troubleshooting

 Identify hardware

 Coordinate with the Production and Embedded team if any issues in devices are found for root cause analysis.

 Verify repaired units before final approval.

Documentation

 Maintain daily testing reports.

 Record serial numbers, MAC IDs, firmware versions, and test status.

 Prepare rejection reports and failure analysis records.

Cross-Functional Coordination

 Support the Service/RMA department in validating repaired products.

 Assist Technical Support in reproducing field issues whenever required.

Educational Qualification

 Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Electrical,

Instrumentation, or related field.

Experience

 1–3 years of experience in Hardware Testing, Electronics Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Embedded Systems, or Product Testing.

 Freshers with strong electronics fundamentals and practical testing knowledge may also be considered.

Technical Skills Additional

 Knowledge of digital and analog electronics.

 PCB-level troubleshooting.

 Understanding of embedded hardware Schemetics

 Familiarity with multi-meters, regulated power supplies, LAN testers, and serial communication tools.

 Knowledge of communication protocols:

 Basic understanding of firmware loading and validation.

 Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office.
